I was trying to mount a Harris Bipod on my RWS 54 airgun. The stock is extra thick and I needed a stud with extended threads. This took about 3 hours to make.
Anyhow, it worked out very well, and now I can "bellyshoot" if I want. I always use the Harris S-BRM Bipod model. This adjusts from 6 to 9 inches and swivels too. A bit pricey, but well worth it.
