1961 CORVETTE. Paint Indigo Ink Effect BC?CC by Custom Autowork, Mesa, AZ.

ENGINE: 427 cubic inch small block, 3.85” stroke, 4.190” bore, Dart Little M block, Dart Pro
1 CNC heads, Callies crank, 9.5:1 compression ratio, Comp hydraulic roller cam. Over 500 flywheel
HP. At the rear wheels, 440 ft-lb torque, and 440 HP reach the ground on 91 octane gas at 5200 RPM
and will run to over 7500 RPM, yet is as streetable as a stock Vortec engine. Rear wheel torque at 1500
RPM is 400 ft-lb. Custom EFI with Accel ECU based on Victor Jr. manifold.

DRIVETRAIN: Doug Nash 5-speed transmission, narrowed 12 bolt posi differential, 3.08 gear ratio, front disc breaks.

HISTORY: Purchased by current owner in March, 1974 for $500 out of a hot rod junk yard in
Helena, Montana. The engine and transmission was missing and body had moderate drivers side
fiberglass damage. Evidence suggests car was drag raced in the 1960’s, and was wrecked sometime
in 1969 in Idaho, possibly on the drag strip.

All mechanical, major body repair, electrical, and most interior work was done by the owner.

Cruise on Central Fall 2010 sponsored by Nancy Perry Productions and Napa Auto Parts.
Park Central Mall in Phoenix Arizona was the location of the 2010 Cruise
on Central car show. What a magnificent venue for all the hot rod owners.
Nancy and Napa Auto Parts did a great job. Wonderful car show and great entertainment.

This car is absolutely beautiful! It looks like it is brand new. It is amazing how well it was able to be fixed up. It is incredible to be able to see what auto repairmen can do. Fixing up a car like this is definitely not something that I could do on my own. It seems like it would really take a lot of hard work and skill.
