Dance festival of Mamallapuram goes on for a whole week starting a week before Poongal Festival on
15 January. A lot of groups are invited, like those from the famous Baratha Nathiyam School in
Chennai but also rural dances are performed.

These girls were dressed for the classic Baratha Natyam dance, she was pointing at the stage and
behind you see a small part of the famous Rock Relief here in Mamalla.
