The shot was taken on the country-side where Brahma's practiced still this art of silk sari weaving. Kanchipuram is known for silk saris, I had once there a silk sari of 2000 Euros in my hands, made for weddings.
Although here in Madurai it is still possible to find these artisans too.
Silk-weaving is very labor-intensive and requires a lot of patient and skills for the patterns mostly in golden thread at the borders of saris, 12 meter long.
