Don't like spiders.


I looked it up, it's a Marbled Orb Weaver. It has a nasty bite but is not poisonous to people. It likes to hide in nearby leaves, in fact, I was only trying to shoot the web when I sprayed it down for visibility and she came flying down into the center looking for prey!!

I like spiders and this is a pretty one. One of our granddaughters saw a huntsman and was starting to get upset until I told her " Oh that's Harry and he's a friend of Pop's and mine " It was amazing to see the fear drain away once she thought of it as Harry, not a spider. She was never afraid again!!

You and my husband. But, this spider is fascinating and it spins the most beautiful webs. Let it be for a while. It catches a lot of bugs, too.
