While walking the dogs this morning, I ran into this little
mushroom village! It wasn't there yesterday, what do these
things sprout overnight??????

Absolutely beautiful and magical shot! And yes, they spring up overnight. They grow very fast as you can see!!! These look like they might be an Amanita species. V

Yes, they do grow overnight, that makes it great for people how collect them, at least here in Germany we many eatable mushtooms! Great shot, Bill!

I think they grow quicky, at night perhaps? I just love the colors here.
Be safe for the hurricane, hopefully it will stay east, though it won't help with storm surge.
