An early issue was that the Army and Navy had not coordinated and there were no Joint CEOI's. Initially the Navy refused to allow the Army helos to land. One day a Army medevac refused to be waved off-he had patients-and forced a landing on deck. The issue was quickly settled but showed this wasnt a really well wired Joint op.
