I remember those cigars! They stood up well to the terrible locally produced rum. :-)

We also found a large cache of Algerian wine and Cuban cigars-stored for the grand opening party of the airport. These were passed to the troops as part of Thanksgiving on the island. CSM Sirois, a cigar smoker, declared them stronger than hemp.......we also had a lot of Rastifarians (Rastamen) who were always in a 5 ft hover. We found a lot of Soviet TA 50, unis and weapons hidden in the middle of crates marked Agricultural goods.
