There is a US Flag hanging on the front of the community center. I had carried in my ruck and put it up when we relieved the Marines. I still have that flag here at the house.
oh yeah very interesting my home Carriacou Hillsborough secondary school and the community center btw in 1983 was serving in the usaf at scott afb ill at time of mission

The buildings on the left were a school. We went over and talked to the school kids, one day. One of them had on a polo shirt with a Dallas Cowboys helmet embroidered on it. He had gotten from a charitable aid organization. I thought that was an interesting bit of American culture showing up out of the blue. I believe this place was on Cariacou.
