Thank you all. This is a learning experience for me. I've cropped a bit at the top, Marc - made the image a bit smaller but I think it still is OK.

I really appreciate all the wonderful feedback and encouragement.

One of the best pictures i've seen from you Brenda. Maybe just a slight crop from the top (slight) would make it perfect. Really good ! You're making progress everytime, and it shows. Keep it up !

Excellent composition Brenda. Love the detail specially the lone bee or fly on the left most image. I really like the almost B&W quality of the whole image. Well Done!

Good exposition here. The sky is bright, but not burned out and good details in the shadows. Composition is fine too. Like it.

I think it really make the composition that the close by flowers are seen totally - very clear graphic. The flat sky really sets them off. How did you get so low - aren't they just 7-8 inches off the ground? Good stuff Brenda!

I really like this one Brenda very nice high contrast shot.

Thanks for the lovely comments, my friends - much appreciated.

Rich - yes, the E-510 has live view. But I had to get down on the ground for this shot and without an articulating LCD screen, some of the composition was calculated guesswork.

This is a very good shot Brenda! I could see this hanging on a wall easy! Look at that little tiny fly on the far left seed head. They remind me of fireworks during the day. :o)

I like this Brenda, does the 510 have the live view feature?
