Thank you all for your comments. In answer to Charlie - no, this isn't one on the PS filters, it's good old fashioned PS 'elbow grease' (as my mother used to say)!

What do you mean Marc, this is a proper gallery! : )

Agree with all. My eyes are converging on...the eye, and that texture is just right. Good, strong colours as well. Nice comp, nice pic, could be displayed in a proper gallery...

Great shot, Frank. I agree with the precedents, specially with Adrian: I think that this eye makes the photo. endika

I love the deep rich colors and the texture! Do you know what I love too, I love that I keep trying to see the rest of this face. I keep leaning to the left in hopes of seeing more. The framing and texures couldn't have been any nicer.

Can't fool me! Even as the dark side I can see a face that is ready for a good laugh and a story :-)

Wonderful textures and subtlety of tones. I looked at this in the daylight and missed half the picture. Love the clarity of the eyes and sense of purpose. Hope we get a 2nd in the series.

Hey Frank - really enjoy this one for the reasons Charlie stated already. I think it's the reflection/light in the eye that really animates this one. thanks heaps, Adrian

Is that one of the PS filters that gives the canvas look? Great stuff
