G'day Julie, I can only guess at the power this image has for you. It captures v.well the bond between the horse and the young girl - she looks so centred, and comfortable here. I can only guess like daughter, so is mum?. thanks for this gem. cheers, adrian

A remarkably sage looking horse...

It is true, nothing reflects us more then our children. That is why it is so important to raise them well. This is also a beautiful photo. The size difference between the horse and your daughter really stands out. And so cute that the horse is asking for a bite of the snacks.

Nice shot Julie. You really hit close to home with this. Tells just a bit of your story and keeps me wondering what else is around the corner.....metephorically speaking.

It is amazing the difference in size and yet the horse seems to be asking your daughter (rather than trying to take). It is interesting the eye contact, the lack of fear in your daughter's posture (yet knowing how far back to stand :-). A very interactive composition - thanks! brent

Ah, me too, those boots are to die for!
Beautifully natural colour, lovely tranquil image, and i like the way the child's hair echoes the chestnut horse.
Very tender idea.
Flick.
