c131 - 1st place Float My Boat - Ship in a Bottle - FrankM

For those interested in such things, the ship is a replica of Columbus' ship 'Santa Marķa'.

Ah, Frank, you own the market on visual humour for sure! This is great - you always put such thought and skilled effort into your entries. And I love 'em.

Brilliant idea and and execution.
A sort of Harry Potter ship in the bottle...

Thanks all. Brad, it's true that there's a fair amount of PP in this shot but I would say that about 70% of the time and effort spent doing this type of image is in the planning and set up of the different shots needed. Provided the planning & set-up are right then PP is more or less straightforward.

would not have had the same dramatic image if model had had Botox

what a feat of post production imaging,, I would not have had the patience

Agree.
The title must be "storm in a bottle". If we leave History in your hands, America would have been discovered by... John Smith? Not by Cristopher Columbus in any case!!!
