The bird decided to find a place void of paparazzi and took flight. Evidently the same bird seen in mid-December (note small white area seen on earlier photo)and found again near Nancy Moore's B&B where we stood in her yard and saw it on the CBC and again farther north. These birds are not as numerous as, say Pace Point, I think they like hill type country. They are much more active hunters rather than scavengers like the Bald Eagle. They are out there but you have to look for them....
