When I found this immature Ruff, it was only the second record for TN. Since that time, we have enjoyed 17 these birds at Ensley Bottoms with one even staying for 2 months (Oct-Nov). We have seen immature and adult Ruffs (males) only in the fall and Reeves only in the spring. See next image for a Reeve.
