This is really great...it's one of those where the whole equals more than the parts. This kid sort of represents to me in a way the America I once grew up believing in, Big and strong and yet a certain gentleness and understanding to it. I think you captured that here. Kinda like " I can be a good friend, or ...if you wanna mess with me?" (Looks like a heck of a Yankee fan too :-)
