"If youth but knew; if age but could."
~ Henri Estienne

"The most consistent characteristic of awakened teachers and people I have met is a childlike nature.
They laugh, cry, twinkle, and joke, all with a spontaneity born of freedom.
Their faces are fluid and reflect a timeless sweetness, even into old age." ~ Catherine Ingram

:-) , wonderfull shot Jeanne, whoever took this picture took it at a fine moment, almost all of my teachers in school and college were so bad at the art of teaching that i never really enjoyed sitting in the class,i escaped in the end :-)).From the relaxed and enjoying faces of your´s and your students, i wish ,if i had a teacher like you... thanks for sharing this nice picture.

I have also taught, but always young children, and I think it is such a rewarding thing :) I love the relaxed posture/outfit and how this contradicts that 'glasses perched on the end of the nose' thing, which is usually associated with a strict, no nonsense kind of woman :)

Humm!! I got a feeling that your classes must be very exciting and interesting to follow. Your expression is wonderfully captured. Great work again Jeanne.

And I would bet your students adore you. I teach adults. May have to get brave enough to go back and teach younger folk. Bless the teachers.
