This car won the RM Restorations Award for the Most Historically Significant Duesenberg. It was one of three 1921 Duesenbergs that raced at Le Mans in 1921, one of which won. This is the only intact survivor of the three. That 1921 victory was America's first international motorsports triumph. ... I got distracted as I was preparing to photograph this car on the Amelia Island show field, and then forgot to return to take a shot. So I am posting here a 2008 photo that I took of the car at its museum home in Philadelphia.
