Some snow came at last.
dry and fluffy,
most of it blown away in the icy gales before it reached the ground.
On the way home yesterday
I braved the slippery roads
down steep hills and through twisty bends
trusting the sure-footedness of Janet (aka the Crimson Ninja)
to get me home safely.
The gales are gone now
and all is white, crisp and fresh.
