27th October 2005 half-way

Went out to check on the wickerman.
He's halfway built.
Hopefully this warm sunny weather will carry on,
and he'll burn really well in a few days.

Did he not know he's had a bird sitting on his shoulder :>) Seems a shame to burn him after all theis effort.

Good grief man are you trying to burn Scotland down.

They look so deep in thought... -- nice capture (and it works so well in b&w...)!

Don't know if it's a scaffolding pole on the right: but I love the way it frames the picture with the twigs....

Can't wait to see the finished item, and the burning of course.

All of that work to burn it back down ;) I hope you get some in flame!

When does the burning occur - is it the 31st???

Here's hoping! When and where do they burn the wickerman? It might be nice to go to see it.

These are excellent in detail. I like his hair, almost like a sculptor. Is this a bonfire for an occasion?
