4th February 2005 sending me a signal

I was up at the Citroen garage,
collecting the Berlingo.
Then I had the urge to stop by at Findhorn,
and watch the sun set on the bay.
I suddenly realised that it was on this day,
4th February,
that I arrived on the quayside at Rotterdam,
my first ship looming up above me.
The first day of my former sea-going life.
Many years ago,
More than I'd care to remember!

This is an absolute corker *so good in fact I've started talking like my Dad*! Really nice and the silhouette just tops it off.

I like the line through the water where dark becomes light. Beautiful shot, & very voteworthy.

I have a Kangoo - love these types of car. I never quite made it to sea. Had a cadetship with P&O just before they sold half their fleet in the mid '80s, and they withdrew the offer...

Beautiful shot. I think it's nice to know that you sailed only 1500 yards from my house.
