Fraser Castle

A lovely sunny day,
January has generally been stormy and cloudy.
It was very cold though, ice underfoot.
I wandered through the woods down to Fraser Castle.
The sun was just lighting the upper part as I got there.
All alone, not another soul about.
It was getting dark by the time I left.

The ghost and sounds of the Princess can still be seen and heard.

nice, is it a private or public castle?

to me it is an interesting photo.. but a culture shock to think of just wandering/walking and going to a castle.. around here if I wander I'm sure that would never happen :)

Hey N* I really enjoy these old architectural wonders that are filled with history. You captured this in beautiful light. The texture of the rock is displayed nicely.

Setting sun-tastic!

I left the sun for the freezing valley fog.
(Almost ran my car off the road looking for a potential shot, too!)

I love castles, not many round here though. We had a brief glimpse of sun today but nothing long-lasting.
