10-JAN-2005

10th January 2005,

I lay awake in bed last night,
listening to the wind and rain.
I love it.
And now today the land seems fresh and scrubbed.

This looks like a dream... Playing in the grass so green, the stones tall, running the circle and listening to the wind as it blows through... Great picture!

Imagine the scene - wind howling, rain lashing DM and LA all tucked up in bed but no sleep - and no, not because of any hanky panky but because the bloody wind chimes were so noisy. 3am - DM down there in pissing rain and dressing gown to gaffer tape them together!!! (Well I wasn't going to go now was I?)

Fresh circle of stones.. green grass.. no snow and a sweet boy running towards you. Did you dream of that?
Rain and wind are the best to sleep to..

I lay awake wondering if there would still be slates on the roof come morning!

At least you haven't suffered any storm damage at the stones.

I love listening to storms whilst in bed too - must be something to do with being so cozy, when you know how bad it is outside!
