unexplained laughter

Climbed up the hill,
to get the last rays of the day's sunshine.
Utterly silent, peaceful and still.
Then I heard laughter in the distance.
But there was nobody at all in sight as far as I could see.
Maybe it was carried on the breeze from far away...

How spooky! But what a wonderful spot for a SP, which came out very well indeed.

Fabulous picture!!! Great b/w, too!

That laughter you heard was me, I was standing on the other side of the hill looking for you when I caught you doing this shot!

A very beautiful shot. Ties in very well with the poem, it is very moving. I don't know how to put it in words, it is just very emotive.

Keep it up

Superb. I like the way the sound carries at the tops of hills. It's a strange sensation!

Forget your trousers and were caught wearing novelty boxers? An "I'm with stupid" t-shirt? Either way - great photo!

You must feel on top of the world overlooking that view. You guys should be employed by tourism Scotland as it's scenes like this that makes me want to pack & go. I would have liked to see this in colour just for the quilt effect of those fields. As for the laughter....who can tell !!
