11th July, costa fortune

Delicious coffee,
but what a price!
Never mind, we aren't in town very often.
So we might as well have a treat.

Well N*, apparently there is a new coffee shop opened up at the back of the St Nicholas churchyard, opposite Boots. Don't think you can sit in there, but at least if it's a nice day you could sit in the churchyard?

Shame on you for supporting the rip-off merchants!

From the thumbnail I was thinking "hmm...where is he flying off to??"...looked like a fancy tray from the days when, for example, Midwest Express, offered treats like you show here...

I think it's hit and miss with Costa (at least on flavour and quality). Pricewise, its extortionate - especially in the bookshop £2.20 for a medium latte!!! Now you need to get out on your bike, Northy.

Yum, it looks delicious. A very tempting shot! We have Starbucks coffee over here, but I call it 'Four bucks', because that is about how much it cost per cup. Pretty sick, considering the minimum wage here. But alas, I buy them anyway (sigh). I'm a Starbucks junkie ~ mocha frappucino, lol.
