I used to live right next to this loch
there is supposed to be a kelpie that lives in it
I never saw or heard it
though the neighbour's grey horse often escaped from its field
and wandered past.
So maybe that's where the story came from.
But as the air turns blue
and the light goes
maybe its better not to hang about for long.
