10th March 2009
Janet the lifesaver

The trusty Janet saved my life twice
last week the overheating light was occasionally flickering
so I was taking it easy.
And I narrowly missed two crashes.
One where a car came round the bend straight at me
so I had to slam on the brakes and move onto the verge.
A few days later, I was going slower than usual
because the light had flickered again
and there was a bad accident at the spot where I should normally have been.
A young boy had crashed into a van carrying a tractor.
The warning lights have stopped flickering
and I can't think what might have caused it as everything seems fine.
So maybe it was old Janet...
The spookiness.

A wonderful image. The Gods would be proud of your words and this picture. The connectedness of everything is amazing isn't it?

Beautiful shot. I assume that it's Janet's shadow in the foreground. Sun and moon at the same time too. Well done.

Wonderful scene. And it sounds like Janet has great early warning detector there.

Indeed! Good thing you're tuned into 'Janet'... perhaps there's a bit of Faerie about her...
