Small mountain or desert towns seem to have a good share of eccentrics. I saw this fellow in a very small town. At first I thought the animal was a dog but I noticed his claws hanging on. He looked more like a marsupial.
I asked the fellow what his animal was and he said "my friend Andy," and looked at me intently. It was kind of an awakard moment So I said Hello Andy - The man walked on. I've tried to represent them as best I can recall.
