Midnight Owl - I wondered who would spot it! the shot was definately taken on Wednesday, Royal mail need to improve their quality control now there is more competition!

Attention to detail young squire...1st Feb was a Wednesday!!!

Cracking image as ever - wonder if you have tried it in B&W with post box in Colour - striking the pose between victorian and current times?

Keep up the good work! My day is definately better for seeing images like this ;)

If you achieved nothing other than this shot your day was worthwhile. Great shot, archetypally English!

Like the composition. The red colour is a real eye catcher.

Unique
I have never seen a postal drop box built into a wall before
Lovely composition, color, and texture
I like the little vine under the box. It's as if it is being underlined to draw attention to the box

One wonders what the messages on the cards and letters said in those Victorian times - it was another world then. It's great that we still have these bright red boxes; they are so photogenic as well as iconic.

Beautiful red and textures.

Great colours and processing Neil (and composition for that matter).
In fact I could imagine this one in a book - so voted.
(There you go - you've achieved something today afer all!)

Nice contrast between the red and the wall. I like the composition too :)
