Five minutes into our stroll:

"Don't go too deep in that pond, it'll come over your wellies" I tell my son

He goes in too deep & the cold water pours into his wellies. We empty them & squish on.

"Don't go in that big bit of mud, you'll get stuck" I tell my daughter

She goes in too deep & gets stuck & has to be suctioned out of the mud.

So we give up and go home....

And the motto of today is "Who is ALWAYS right, kids? Eh??"

("Mummy!" was the answer!)
