Light on the sales looks great and the composition is spot on. horizon wise, I think it is one of those confusing scenes with lots of almost contradictiing lines!

Not sure you have committed the sin - those fence posts are straight. The apparently sloping shoreline could be a trick of perspective. Are the boats in the water at the correct angle?

Anyway, nice shot - the sails make for a punchy B&W
