Learning that I was leaving the job as illustrator to take the military service soon, my friend Le Xuan Hien from Dalat contacted me, "I knew you are a stupid guy who always wanted to be in front of any event. Look, 6 months from now you may get killed once you finish your military training. Why don't fly up here to really live some days?"

Taking his convincement, I visited Dalat resort and had fun being with local minority people at Cam Ly Falls. In fact, I never know that my next visit to another group of minority people would be 33 years later, as I came to Lao Cai.
