A beautiful and sadly declining environment. The straightness of the wood and rot-resistant qualities has been this tree's undoing. A picture cannot do justice to the grandeur of such a forest. The trees are nearly perfectly straight, very tall, and grow quite close together. When the wind blows, the eerie sounds of the trees rubbing together make the area even more eerie and ancient.
