17-40mm f/4L

This lens is great for the landscape photography. It can also be used indoors to capture a wider view than the 24-105 or 24-70. It has beautiful colors and contrast. On a full frame body such as the 5D, it gives an ultra wide view.

I bought it when I was shooting with 1.6X bodies. On them it is not very wide. It gives the equivalent view of a 27-64mm zoom on a full frame body such as the 5D.

Great pictures ! This 17-40 lens really seems fantastic ... I think it'll be my future lens, because the 16-35 is too expensive. Do you use a polarisant filter with your 17-40 ? Thx.
