The tight framing, crop, textures and clarity are superb Neil. I like that this image poses more questions than answers making this intriguing and somewhat mysterious. The colors and feeling of isolation also have Andrew Wyeth overtones. So very nice. VVV
Maybe it's a restaurant kitchen with dirty windows? Nice clarity on this shot. I like the striped pencils or whatever they are on the window sill that perk up an otherwise darkish interior.
