Excellent shot(s)! This is not actually one of the hummingbird moths, but IS one of the other sphinx moths. This is Manduca sexta (Sphingidae). Common name is tobacco sphinx moth. Hummingbird moths are day-flies. These guys are crepuscular (early evening) and night fliers. And hard to get a good images as you have!
