Yes, I placed an order for this lens at the start of May 2006. After 4 weeks I got bored and changed it to one for a Tamron 90mm. As it happened, the Nikon came in before the Tamron. No I don't have a D200 yet - just a D50. Colin

Larry: Actually, the lens was more difficult to get than the camera. I ordered the camera the day after Nikon announced them. Bill
