JET AIRCRAFT, ON THE WAY TO LANDING AT THE ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA AIRPORT

I was out in the front yard, trying out an older, manual focus, Tamron SP 90mm f/2.5 macro lens I had just purchased off eBay, when this plane flew over the house. I quickly focused and snapped this image. Thirty-three years ago, when this lens was first introduced, Tamron advertised the lens as being a macro/tele/portrait lens. The company said the lens would also serve well as a general-purpose moderate telephoto lens. After taking this photo, I believe it!
