The defensive walls of Almeida were the second best defensive walls in the portuguese
border to defend the country from invaders. In the shape of a star viewed only from the sky they are now only a place for tourists to visit and enjoy the extense view along the countryside...

Very fine photograph. The scene is well composed with bold colors. The deep blue sky filled with appealing clouds is a perfect BG for the reds that appear through out the work. Very well done.

Excellent picture of a place I love , where I used to go, to the Pousada, just near the fortress. I love that strong blue of the sky, the excellent composition and the care with the frame. Usually nobody does a frame, When someone does, like you did, I recognize it as a nice gesture for the onlookers. Congratulations, you are totally master of your D70. jorge
