This was my first roll-in trench drain shower pan I could find. They just don't make it large enough, however. In the 3 to 4 years of planning this shower, the last year of delay was due to not being satisfied with my shower pan choices. It needed to have a trench drain, be roll-in style in case I ever need that, and deeper than 32", which is all the floor space the larger Swanstone pan gives you. NO, I would never trust 90% of tillers to build a properly waterproofed tiled shower. Since I can't clean, a tile and grout shower was never in my plan, anyways! I am looking forward to a mold-free future.

Sswanstone does have a bunch of interesting colors in their more recent updates. Check them out if you want a solid surface shower. They make a wall up to 60" across, so the back wall will not need a seam. Their shower wall material is 1/4 thick solid surface that you adhere to drywall in order to get it situated so that it is hanging over the lip of the shower base. It extends down below the drywall so that the drywall remains away from the water in the pan and cannot absorb it, then that gap is caulked. You caulk the corners, install corner cove moldings with more silicon adhesive, and you are done.
