Very few Australians have seen koalas in the wild. I am one of the fortunate ones in that I took one many years ago in a National Park 150kms west of Sydney. Before we bought our house, the previous owner had koalas in our garden in Sydney. Unfortunately lack of habitat and dogs have taken their toll on these wonderful creatures. Cheers Sheila
