5th: Fly Up&Down by Fritz Kurt

Pilatus, Luzern/Switzerland

Lucky Punch! I wanted to shoot the paraglider, but suddenly (because of A2 shutter lag ;-)), I had the jackdaw ("Bergdohle") im my frame. At home, I discovered, that there is even an rock climber in the frame and a part of the Pilatus rack railway track.

Well done on your serendipitous capture Fritz. As you say, there are a few elements to hold interest. Nicely composed. Cheers, John

g'day Fritz - this image has great tension - something i've rarely seen - and at the same time it almost re-defines up/down, with the bird in the foreground. It has that un-expected element that i crave for in great images. thanx heaps. adrianox

Really nice. The image made me shiver as I tried to work out the angle of the shot. How did you take it ? :)

Talk about the decisive moment! Very good timing here, and a good balanced composition

Looks like the rockclimber is going up, bird is going down , the para-glider is going up, railway is going up and down, the hill is going up and down...I think this picture is over qualified.
Super!
Like all the angles working together and then the para-glideris a nice balance of spot color and tension
