Queing up by Ingo Rautenberg

I was struck by the contrast between the flagstone wall and the black shopping carts.

As is sometimes the case, the subject wasn't perfect and I had to do some cleanup

work where the flagstone wall ends and the brick alcove begins at the far end.

Ingo,
The mundane made wonderful in the world of Black and White. I love the lines of this image. Good work.

good capture, and particularly the use of monochrome to finish it.

good one Ingo - good striking composition - that leads you into the texture/patterns of the trolleys, then the rock wall - this works well in b&w. Thanx.

Hi Ingo,

Nice idea and the BW works well her, simplifing the shot and making the pattern stand out more. Good entry.

The structure of consumerism against the classic texture of a stonewall. Modernity meets eternity. Very postmodern, and it works really great in B&W. My compliments, Ingo.

Interesting shot Ingo. There is certainly texture in the stone wall.
