A simple yet successful solution. It captures my attention whenever I go through the gallery.

Those colours are amazing. It must be something wrong with my A1 because I simply cannot make such great shots. Congrats!

Hi Bracket,

Thanks for the explaination on the wall color. I like it even more knowing it is "natural".

I like the warm colours of the lampshades and how the light illuminates and accentuates the structure of the wall.

Thanks for your comments. Philip, the wall by itself is white. The lower part in this pic is lit by the paper lamp and thus red/orange, the upper part is lit by stray daylight from outside, which turns blue with the incandescent white balance setting. The blue mixes with the orange to some kind of violet. The photo looked very similar out of camera, I just played with the curves a bit to further enhance the colors.

greetings, bracket

Very warm and cozy shot. The ighting is just great (or at least I'm biased in favour of paper lamps)

I really like the colors in this shot. Is the color of the wall natual or did you use photoshop to get it that way?

There is a sense of tension here, between the lit and the unlit lamp. Nice textures of the paper armature of the lamps (at least that's what I think it is) and the wall, with smooth color transitions. Very pleasing image.
