Great perspective, and DOF. Nice lines. The contrast of the classical and modern structures is interesting--especially in the context of the challenge.

Very nice photo! Interesting vantage point and the composition and lighting are superb. The diagonal flow and human figures give it energy and life. You can take pride in this one!

Gee, this one is superb!

Contrast, perspective, rule of thirds ... it's hard to find words to accurately describe the appeal of the photo, but it certainly does evoke response.

hmmmm... ok. where to start.. Tom - Great eye! - the security guard actually asked me not to hold the beast over the empty space (not a bird ;-) - just arms length) - i would not have been able to take this pic (with confidence) without the assist of the articulated LCD. and - i just waited for the folk to be where i liked the effect. (multiple pics where they were not ;-) thanx guys. adrianox

Adrian,
I love the unexpected... and this is an unexpected angle that works. The three pedestrians perfectly spaced, I have to ask, did you pose them? Or is that just a sign of patience waiting for the perfect moment?
michael.nj 16-Jun-2004 18:16
Of your three, this is my favorite. Would almost make someone uneasy if they had a fear of heights. I would guess it took a while to get the people positioned as they are...
it's a perfectly composed shot.
Tom 14-Jun-2004 14:10
GREAT shot! I see at least 3 textures and they are all part of structures: column, wall, and floor, fits theme to a T. Feels like you trusted a bird with your camera.
Philip Potts 14-Jun-2004 02:01
This could be used as a poster for the museum. Good shot.

This is really a sgreat shot. Very unusual persepctive that works extremely well. The combination of natural and artificial light gives it a very nic touch. Your wait was well worth, as the people complete the shot beatifully and make it very dynamic

thanks heaps folks - yup - the british museum - i've updated location info. i spent quite some time on the roof structure - then looked down... seems most people walk close to LHS - so had to wait abit before these folk were more central on floor.

Adrianox,
I like those abstract shapes - voting will become hard work. Was this shot taken at the British Museum in London?

Excellent shot again Adrian. Interesting perspective, which gives the image a slightly surrealistic touch. The title is certainly very apt (though I am missing the bowler hats on the pedestrians).

Lots of dynamics in this image ! Fabulous execution. You have a great eye, Adrian !
Whereas for linking in to the theme, I have my doubts; but that's my personal point of view of course.
