.. that it's highly rewarding to observe such great works of art when coming last in the line.
I constantly admire your shots for this competition.

Fred... sometimes the simplest stuff works so well... This is a perfect example of that. Bravo, Scott

Hi All!

Thanx everyone for your compliments on this image. If you wonder what it is I just uploaded the original image and an explanatory one to the originals gallery.

Another nice one, Fred. I can't tell what it is---maybe a tiny wine holder? I'd like to hear the story about it.

Simply wonderful, wonderfully simple.

Fred, I love this shot. The texture of the blocks, wall & wood are great. Even the nail holes add to the theme.

excellent work here, Fred! Can't help but wonder how many of us would have seen this, and not SEEN it.

Good one. Already the thumbnail shows the structure, the large image adds the texture to it.
congrats,

Yes, a great sense of illusion, with thos shadows and highligths. Like it.

Fred I would say exactly what Claudio has already said except for the "4E" title because that's his unique contribution. I am intrigued to hear his theory about it for sure.
Again, very nice shot Fred.

Thanks Claudio. Your suggestion for a new title is brilliant, so I will immediately rename it..lol.

Perfect for the theme. The minimalistic composition works great, and the lighting does indeed give it a very strong sense of depth. Great repetition and optical illusion. You have a good eye for these type of optical effects. Good one!

PS: I would have titled it "4E" instead of "3D" for the joy of all the spell checkers ;-) (I have a theory on this but I'll leave it for another day)
