AMazing landscape. I think the blue sky is a great contrast in texture, but just IMO.

Niamh, this pic was taken in north chile between Antofagasta and the mining city Calama.
Jose, i don't know what mineral it is, but due to the color i would say iron perhaps.

Great texture, Cyril - where was this taken? If I had one (very small) criticism - in the context of this challenge topic, I might have been tempted to crop out a little of that blue sky to make the textured hillside larger in the frame. But as you know, that's just my opinion. Best wishes, niamh.
