3rd: 7 today! 7 today! by John down under

Here is Molly living life large on the occasion of her 7th birthday on 1 March this year. She is such a happy soul. Look at that huge grin from ear to ear. I'd like to see any squirrel come even close to doing THAT! :o)
Luckily the A1 focuses quickly enough to enable shots like this where you only have seconds - if you're lucky - before the subject decides it's time to undress. ;o)
(This is not the same pic I used in the dreaming pic collage in the C4 exhibition gallery. That's right: I tormented poor Molly more than once to get these shots.)

Hi John,

you did it again :) You crack me up. You should run a show on the Discovery Channel. But don't neglect the ants, now. Or did you not manage to make them smile and look happy? How about a drop of Penfolds to get them into the mood ;) Cheers, Smatty

Hi John down under,
Great shot. Molly appears to be having a pretty good time, although I guess she's just party animal. I hope she hasn't been into that red wine you used on the diagonals challenge! ;-)
Regards,
Richard.

I agree, its like one of those mona lisa paintings, where the eyes follow you. I think thats a classic "Dennis the Menace" cartoons. Those eyes are definately directly into the lens. Great capture, and Happy B-DAY Molly! Your B-day is 1 day before me, so I think we were celebrating about the same time ;) Luckily, I turned 21 this year, so the beer was making me smile too :)

Something feels strange to me. I know Molly's looking at the camera, but it feels like she's looking directly at me!
