2nd: All By Myself - PWM

I shot two pictures. One that made the sky dark, and one that captured details on the ground and in the house. Then I stacked them in a picture editing program. Maybe this picture would be nice as a bookmark :) The shutter speed stated in the exif data is the slowest shutter speed. The fast shutter speed was 1/3 sec.

This is a stunner for all the reasons Feri points out below. It could be corny, it's such a familiar theme, but it's vertical pano aspect and its perfect composition and execution set it fully apart. It will be getting my votes for this gallery.

Excellent editing job. The combination of the two frames gives a great tonal range in the sky colors. I think you really nailed the theme as well.

The dramatic framing sets this picture off very nicely. I note the moon in ROT position. Good capture of the scene, the mood, the 'alone'. Quite a long exposure!

Hi PWM, I am amazed to see such a beautiful picture. The simplicity, the capture of nature's beauty at sunset and the small hut standing out with all its pride near the horizon with the crescent moon high on the top, your extravagant aspect ratio of a slim and tall frame rendering dynamism here to make my eyes elevate up and down, moreover the changing color range of the sky at dusk all add up to be a photo I will see in front of myself even when I close my eyes. I'd love to live there in peace and quietness! Cheers, Feri.
