Nigel, I never thought about the # of strings. Looking at the pic now, it seems like there are 8 tuning pegs, but only 6 strings.

I would have liked to hear this guy playing. The expression on his face and the battered guitar hint at an interetsing sound. Nigel PS I can't figure out how many strings that guitar has got - is it a baritone with 7?
